OH MY GOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ruth, you MUST, YOU MUST, sell those bowls on etsy. YOU MUST! Those felted pieces…seriously, I squealed like a little girl. They are GORGEOUS! And your knitting, how do you manage to be so multi-talented? People like you sorta piss me off. It’s not fair.
FYI- the photos of the yarn turned out beautifully. Yet another damn talent you have. Just so you know, I’m sneering at you.
Still love you though, and so excited about your new goodies!
xoxoxo
Flatterer.
So far, all of the felted bowls I’ve made are gifts. I have had a few people express interest in buying some though. We’ll see.
Dyeing yarn?! Amazing. These are beautiful, and the photos are just as gorgeous.
Have missed seeing you here! Busy, busy.
Thanks! I taught myself how to knit about 10 years ago and tried my hand at yarn dyeing about 5 years ago. I’ve done a little bit here and there, but lately I’ve kind of gone nuts. I guess because I seem to be blocked creatively and this takes very little thought. Heh.
Oh Ruth — everything is delicious! Love those felted bowls — what wonderful gifts they would make. I’m delighted you’re back.
Funny you should mention gifts…the three flower bowls are gifts for my mother-in-law and the other two bowls were given to my son’s teachers just this week!
